Let's get right to the heart of the matter without procrastinating!

What is a transgender person?
Commonly called trans, it is a person who does not feel good in his current skin because his sexual identity is not in adequacy with his feeling. You are a woman but you feel like a man. You are a man but you feel like a woman. It is as simple as that. It is not a question of sexual orientation but of gender identity. Transformation is a long and winding road full of all kinds of pitfalls.
Is it a disease?
I would simply answer that of course not! It's a long process of reflection, it doesn't happen overnight. I understand that for the people around you it can be hard to accept. But don't we say happiness comes first? For a long time people believed that it was a disease, that it was against nature. What is unnatural is to prevent a person from living whether it is a question of sexual orientation or gender identity.
